Mr & Mrs Nath of Logix group along with Khushii presented ASMITA, an initiative to support the cause of the Girl Child at The Oberoi Hotel, New Delhi. On the occasion Sanjana Jon and Miss Universe 2009, Ms. Stefania Fernandez also created awareness about their ongoing AIDS awareness tour 2010.
Under the aegis of World Action Forum, Asmita by Logix Groups is an endeavor of Logix group to save the girl child. Logix group also takes an opportunity to donate to 3 different NGOs – Salaam Balam Trust, Sakshan & Love and Care in their bid to speed up the initiative taken for the cause.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Kapil Dev, Chairperson, Khushii, said, “We are proud to welcome yet another member to our umbrella of World Action Forum. We have seen the contribution that Logix has been making to the society and it is an honour for us to take forward their initiatives and cause.”
Khushi believes this endeavour will not only reduce the financial burden on each individual agency, but will also ensure the care provided under this common umbrella benefits from the core expertise of different members. It is a colossal task, but the impact will be far greater than the largest achievement of each individual organization. As the NGO forum grows with more members, so will our reach and impact for the benefit of our planet.
