The Dior savoir faire in the ready-to-wear spring-summer 2018 collection, D-Murrine, is inspired by the colorful work of Niki De Saint Phalle.




The multicolored glass motifs of necklaces, rings and earrings were handmade on the Island of murano, italy. And the other elements — such as the bee, the figure eight, the clover and the star-were made in Germany, in an atelier that Christian Dior himself chose in 1955 to produce his first costume jewelry collections.

Radhika Jain an inventive and ingenious jewellery designer from Kolkata will be showcasing its magnificent jewellery collection “ADI-SHAKTI” at Lakme Fashion Week S|R 2018.



The collection depicts the divine feminine creative power, the nature mother in form of flowers and pollens with dew drops, which give the biggest gift “Life”. The energy is an amalgam of softness and strength which is represented in the collection with metals and armoured structures.



Radhika’s designs specialize in creating handcrafted Fashion Accessories and Silver Artifacts. The collection “ADI – SHAKTI” is curated with traditional jewellery giving contemporary twist for women of all age groups who aspire to be independent, creative and at the same time deeply feminine. The designs of the collection are made of brass and copper.




#SeeMyWish, Bvlgari’s new creative campaign, is as sparkly as it is festive.Digitally brought to life by Italian architect and designer Federico Babina, the jewellery maison has unveiled its Roman-esque campaign, aptly titled the Wishes Factory Campaign.

Expect to be inspired by the sparkling night sky, before entering one of seven rooms that showcase Bvlgari’s craftsmanship behind their iconic collections – Goldea, Serpenti, Octo, Diva, Bzero1, LVCEA and Serpenti Forever.

At the same time, Bulgari continues to build on its charitable endeavours with a special #SeeMyWish social media campaign. The luxury jewellery brand will donate US$1 to Save the Children every time the campaign video – which you can find below or a wish selfie with the hashtag #SeeMyWish is shared on Facebook or Instagram.

Specially curated for Confluence (a jewelry collective designed by leading fashion luminaries), Suhani Pittie introduces her jewelry line titled ‘Unsung Tribes’. The collection is inspired by the Dongrias, the Lambanis, the Banjaras and other indigenous tribal communities in India, their worship of Mother Nature, their wilderness and their deeply spiritual existence.

Boldly accentuated with Crystals designed by Chris Bangle for Swarovski, the collection delves into the surreal world of indigenous tribes of India and is strongly rooted in culture. The colours are rustic and the pieces exuberate a whimsical charm beautifully amalgamated with the contemporary appeal of Swarovski Crystals.

Throwing light on the collection for Confluence, Suhani said, “The collection is tribal themed at the onset but if you look closer, it contains contemporary themes aesthetically paired with natural motifs to create something refreshing and visually gratifying. Every design has been enhanced further by the scintillating sparkle of the iconic Swarovski Crystals. The strong tribal influences of the pieces are beautifully juxtaposed again the edgy elegance of the multi-faceted Swarovski Crystals to create genre-defying jewels.”


The Jewellery design students of Arch Academy of Design (AAD), Jaipur, showcased their cutting-edge designs and innovative concepts at the three-day exhibition titled Jewelhood.

The students displayed their extensive range of eye-catching jewellery design collections including traditional and conventional jewellery under the mentorship of London based well known designer Ms Anna Tuhus.

The students designed and developed innovations using various media including metal, wood, textiles, plastic and recycled waste material suited to Indian and global markets.

Industry records were broken as Christie’s auctioned de GRISOGONO’s ground-breaking necklace, ‘The Art of de GRISOGONO, Creation 1’,at the landmark Magnificent Jewels sale in Geneva,with the necklace achieving a hammer price of CHF 33,500,000 / US$ 33,701,000.

This breath-taking masterpiece,designed by FawazGruosi, Founder and Creative Director of de GRISOGONO,features a 163.41-carat Flawless D-Colour diamond, cut from the historical 404-carat diamond, extracted from the Lulo mine in Angola by the listed Australian mining company, Lucapa Diamond Company.

This marks a new milestone for de GRISOGONO and is the largest ever emerald-cut diamond offered at auction. The sale breaks the previous record price for a D Flawless Diamond which was US$30,600,000.

The 404-carat rough diamond was acquired from the Lulo mine by de GRISOGONO’s strategic partner,international rough diamond trader Nemesis, who granted the marketing rights of this incredible stone to de GRISOGONO.

This allowed FawazGruosi to guide the process from the cutting of the rough stone to the sublimely luxurious, finished High Jewellery necklace.

The final design was chosen in February 2017, in keeping with de GRISOGONO’s daring creativity, whilst simultaneously being fit for such a significant stone.
14 highly-skilled artisans spent 1,700 hours creating this astonishing necklace.

Commenting, FawazGruosi, said: “This auction marks a high point for de GRISOGONO and the team that have worked so tirelesslyto bring this incredible stone to life in this beautiful piece, Creation 1.

This is the largest emerald-cut diamond ever to come to auction and so it was uncharted territory. I am truly privileged to have had the opportunity to work with a historic stone of such perfection andwould thank everyone who has taken part in this beautiful journey from mine to masterpiece.”

The collection depicts a journey of celebrating the innate aesthetics of discarded urban waste-pieces and objects that have a sense of time. It is a story of dancing with restraint, where each design conveys its own unique textural dance works towards exploring the innate aesthetics and meanings associated with metal scrap, waste, leftovers and mechanisms.

The design approach is elemental and subtle within its own celebratory realm. Using different metal textures and parts like coins, screws, nibs, hinges and watches, each product becomes a reminiscence of a mechanism, person, place and time.

Swarovski, recently hosted the second edition of the Sparkling Couture exhibition at the Madinat Arena in Dubai, inspired by the concept of Infinity and the endless possibilities for creativity and innovation.
