Issey Miyake drew inspiration to create, for spring 2010, fragrance bottles in an unexplored matter. A new story tells of the meeting of water and wood.

L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme is housed in unique new bottles for the season.

A zest of yuzu adds freshness while sage and coriander leaves give off their aroma, the spices, nutmeg and cinnamon, lift its authentic and masculine character.

The elements change into opulent amber notes, finally disclosing the sandalwood, geranium, water lily and vetiver.

A wood in natural brownish tones was chosen for L’Eau d’Issey pour Homme – Edition Bois. A contrasting matte silver cap accentuates the bottle’s authentic, masculine character.

The L’Eau d’Issey Fleur de bois bottle is made of a pinkish-grey aged wood and features a matte white metallic cap.

For this edition, the women’s eau de toilette presents a new olfactory variation created by Jacques Cavallier: L’Eau d’Issey – Fleur de Bois

The freshness of blackcurrant and mandarin orange awakens sprays of flowers cradled by the ebb and flow. The scents encountered along the way: rose essence, mimosa absolute from Grasse, a touch of freesia for the softness.

Wood carried away by the current brings character and depth: tossed about by the waves, Virginia cedar mingles its essence with aquatic notes.
