Essential Looks PURE Collection
Raising the temperatures of an already-so-hot Bangalore, Schwarzkopf professional presented the ‘Essential Looks PURE Collection’ with models flaunting five international trends and 20 hot looks. The Leela Palace saw 20 hotties walking the ramp in designer Amita Sharma’s flamboyant designs as they showcased the season’s hair trends. And then actress Daisy Bopanna appeared in a white gown complemented by a haircut and stopped the show.
The afternoon also saw Najeeb Ur Rehman, Technical Head Schwarzkopf Professional unveil the PURE Collection. Conversing with the hair dressing fraternity, he said “The idea behind this show is to see tomorrow’s fashion today. The show presents some of the styles that people can think about when it’s summer. These are styles, most suitable for this season. Hence, we call it the Summer Collection.” He further added, “For a hair stylist, it’s very important to understand the psyche of his client as it’s important that his hair style complements his personality. If that doesn’t happen, the stylist is answerable. We at Schwarzkopf Professional make sure of that; it’s just not hair styling but educating our client as to what suits them the most.”
In addition to all this, the afternoon gave Bangalore based designer Amita Sharma an opportunity to display her 2010 summer collection. She is official costume partner with the brand for the new summer looks they are lunching in India. Talking about her association with Schwarzkopf professional, she said, “It was a challenge to make each model look different for the show. And the dresses they wore had to complement their hair cut as well. I am happy that things have gone well, which is very accomplishing. And, it’s always a joy to see models walking down the ramp in my outfits.”
