Vaishali Shadangule made traditional performing art a fashion statement with her latest summer/resort collection. The complete spellbinding collection merged Khand with khadi and transformed them in modern complex geometric shapes. Colors like white, black, maroon, grey, blue and gold highlighted the collection. A Belted grey dress with maroon collar and cowl back was followed by a lean column long dress. Designs like a fancy fuchsia mini skirt, draped angular one- shoulder creation, a royal blue toga with intricate drape, a white long sheer trench coat and layered organza Khand choli reflected the creativity of the designer. Creating a stunning impact on the ramp were deep blue lean maxi with side panels, a stunning gown with cut-out back and a halter asymmetric maxi dress in grey/black/white checked/striped. Other intricately crafted included a one-shoulder draped blue gown, another in deep green, a stylish white khadi/Khand long sleeved summer coat and a dramatic cowl neck shifts. A final white khadi sari with a grey/white layered choli sporting a front tie-up was a remarkable look.
