    Review

Siddartha Tytler ss’16 collection was blend of Western and Indian style moving beyond his forte of western outfits. The designer showcased bridal outfits for an empowered and free thinking woman.

He showed traditional silhouettes which had a modern take. The ensembles were bedecked with intricate appliques, bold stripwork as well as precious crystals and elaborate sequins. The color palette varied from subtle creams, beiges and vintage rose to rich rustic colors such as steel greys and maroons.

The range had cropped, knee length anarkalis worn over roomy shalwars, cholis with capes and slashed sleeves, dramatic metallic gowns. The collection included sophisticated wedding sherwani suits and a range of well-fitted waistcoats for men.
