Samant Chauhan Show at AIFW SS’16
    October 9, 2015

    Review

Samant Chauhan’s Kinnaur Queen was inspired from many centuries of intense and rich Indo-Greek cultural exchange. The collection took us to the era of Alexander encounter with Porus.

The silhouettes were fluid and fitted sometimes. Embroideries, intricate detailing, exaggerated shoulders, smart cuts and his famous blood red lining were beautifully incorporated into the collection. The color off white and red dominated the lineup.

The designer showed splendid designs like a cotton silk panel kaftan with silk thread and zari embroidery, front open fish cut style dress in cotton silk and cotton silk fused dress with silk thread and zari embroidery. Eye-catching outfits were net fabric gown embellished with silk thread and zari work and layerd cape style front open gown in cotton silk fabric, embellished with silk thread and zari emboriry.
