Payal Pratap celebrated the journey of the modern woman with her spring collection ‘Vintage Rose’ influenced by 50’s romantic era.
The show started with fit and flares silhouettes and gradually moved to fluid silhouettes. The designer beautifully used colorful floral prints, sharp stripes, playful polka and strong prints dots to decorate fabrics like dupions, chanderis, crepes and georgettes.
Gracing the ramp were pleated skirts, jumpsuits, pieces with halter neck, contemporary structured dresses which came in softer pallets in tonal octaves. Cross stich embroideries, 3d motifs and pixilated cross stich prints gave a classic glamour. Patent leather footwear made in ivory nude and black accessories complemented the stunning outfits.
