Manish Bansal at Lakme Fashion Week W/F’15
    September 1, 2015

    Review

Manish Bansal’s “The British Canine” collection was an extraordinary attempt of reinventing and breaking the stereotype in men’s fashion.

Manish cleverly incorporated winter friendly fabrics like felt, wool, checks, cotton viscose and jersey to create flawless outfits. The color story revolved around dark hues such as Marsala, ox blood, red, navy blue with a pinch of beige. To give hunkier look to the garments, color blocked/checked patches were used. The bull dog print was smartly fused as a whole or in terms of elements showcasing the innovation of print placement.

Male models walked the runway in casual knit pullovers, semi-formal jackets, formal blazers and calf length coats. The ankle length pants had the union flag print at the hem and the faux fur detailed collar were a major highlight.
