    Review

For this season’s haute couture line up, Gaurav took inspiration from fantasy forest and the fluid shapes of nature, that tells the story of Moondust in many ways.Henceforth, we saw intricate hand embroideries adorning the garments with fine bugle beads, glass beads and pearls on nets, organza and silk dupion.

The runway had fluid abstract hangings which appeared very dreamy. Thus, the colours used for this collection were very subdued and romantic like dove grey, ice blue, mint green, night teal and pale pink. His gowns were voluminous and larger than life with some coed sets which were very sleek and dainty.

The designer showcased wide range of collection with different kinds of fits and fabrics, experimenting with the higher slits and different necklines, consisted of sarees, evening dresses, gowns and lehengas which were contemporary yet Indian.
