Anupama Dayal Show at AIFW SS’16

    Review

Channeling a different kind of boho, Anupama Dayal’s eclectic collection was named after her mother, Manjula.

She effortlessly blended bohemian style and Indian style in her collection. There was riot of colours, shoulder dusters and lots of tassels. She came up with ensembles with quirky layers, apron-silhouettes and bold prints. Her line was mostly comprised silk and a bit of cotton and stripes.

The collection was a beautiful combination of off shoulder dresses, kaftans georgette sarees etc, mostly in shades of orange and red, giving the entire collection a Bengali look. The range also consisted of pieces high waisted kaftan in red handprinted in stripes, fluid long dress in satin and aqua shirt dress in stripes.
