    Review

Anavila Misra’s ‘The Secret Life of Forests’ narrated a story of minimalism and subtle design elements coming together in harmony with each other.

The silhouettes were relaxed and comfortable taking cues from the nature itself. A beautiful expression of balance came through the monochromatic pallet with hints of gold and silver. Tones of ecru, cement, charcoal and midnight blue interspersed with sujini embroidery and woven metallic borders which dominated the collection.

Layering, enveloping and overlaps were some of the new patterns for blouses and garments showcased. 100% knitted linen garments were also introduced on the ramp. The models walked the ramp wearing stunning garments that were purely handwoven and hand detailed.
