Abhi Singh Show at AIFW SS’16
    October 12, 2015

    Review

Designer Abhi Singh’s presented his ‘Melancholy’ collection which was inspired from the gothic era.

He opted for silhouettes that were body-hugging and breezy. Deconstructed layering was key point of the collection. To emphasize the designs he used graphic patterns and color palate that included dark colors grey and white.

Deconstructed layering was seen in the hemline of jackets, mutton sleeves or peelum tops. Models sashayed sown the ramp wearing fitted leather pants, skirts and long dresses with thigh high slits in linen, silk and net. He also introduced sheath dresses, jacketed separates, crop tops with trousers, casual gowns with thigh-high slits.
