U.S. Consul General Thomas L.Vajda and President of Namaste America Atul Nishar co-hosted a ball at the U.S. Consulate General to mark the swearing-in of the 45th President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
The evening began with a spectacular performance by the “Guru of Dance” Shiamak Davar and his dance company.The energetic performance included an interaction with all the guests present at the event with an impromptu jib on the bollywood number Kala Chashma. This was followed by the official first dance by Mr. Atul Nishar and his wife Alka Nishar along with U.S. Consul General Thomas L.Vajda and his wife Amy Sebes.
The biggest highlight of the event was the live telecast of President Trump delivering his first address as President from Washington, D.C in the presence of a diverse cross-section of people such as Mr. Nayan Patel, Rajyalakshmi Rao, Reena and Ashok wadhwa, Madhu and Satish Shah, Dilip Piramal, Poonam Dhillon, Kiran Juneja and Ramesh Sippy, Urvi Piramal, Kalpana Shah, Indu Shahani, Niranjan Hiranandani, Rupa Fabiani, Ananya Dutta and Bharat Dhabolkar, Raj Nayak, Ali and Yasmin Moraani, Pankaj Udhas, Rohit Khandelwal, Nabeel and Humaira Patel and many more.
