Udit OhriBorn and brought up in an army family, discipline comes innately to Delhi-based model Udit Ohri. This tall and charming lad with a baritone to fall for loves the fact that he holds a couple of Masters of Business Administration degrees from France and UK. Well, we liked the fact either…so we caught up with Udit to dig few such facts which delighted us!

Tell us something about your formative years and family?
Well, I grew up in a joint family with its root in army. My grandfather was a Colonel in the army so I have been brought up in the best possible way with a lot of discipline. Presently, I live in a nuclear family so it’s just me and my parents as I do not have any brothers or sisters.

Tell us something about your journey as a model. How it happened to you?

Well, it was my childhood dream to model and act so after completing my education (I am a double MBA from France & UK), I think now I have time in hand to pursue my dreams.

Udit OhriDon’t you think modeling comes with a very short shelf life? So what plans have you held for yourself?
I think it entirely depends on the person. Age is a number for me. I somehow feel that I a
m destined to make it big, and I am very positive about my life.

What do you like and dislike most about modeling?
Modeling gives you recognition, fame and money. Frankly, I don’t like the casting couch in the industry.

Which projects have you been part of?
I have had walked ramp for quite a few designers. The most memorable is of Bharat & Reshma. Besides I performed at Kingdom of Dreams in an English play in a main lead role. I have recently done a TVC for Reebok with Dhoni, Gambhir and Bruna Abdullah.

How is Udit as a person, which books do you like, what sort of music do you enjoy and all that comprises the most essential part of you other than modeling?
I loveUdit Ohri listening to soft soothing songs, mostly Sufi. Well, apart from modeling I am working as an analyst with Standard & Poor’s.

What is your greatest achievement till date?
I believe the greatest achievement is yet to come, though I have any many achievements but I believe the best one is yet to come, that makes me work hard for the next achievement.

How do you spend your leisure time?
When not working, or modeling, I love to shop and hang out with my friends.
