Designer Nandita Mahtani, celebrated her all new evening resort wear line with friends and family who came to support her, dressed in her creation Kanika Kapoor, Pragya Kapoor, Tara Sharma, Kim Sharma, Tanishaa Mukerji, Ujjwala Raut, Bhavna Pandey, Dolly Sidhwani, Alison Kanungo.

One of the leading names in the fashion fraternity Siddartha Tytler, launched his first flagship store along with his latest couture collection 2018 at his new store in Qutub Boulevard, Mehrauli.

Spanning across a 1000 square feet, the store is a perfect balance between sophistication and opulence though complementing details ranging from furnishing to the soothing grey and gold palette, alongside the element of ‘the arch’ of ‘walking through an endless colonnade’ emerged.

The showstopper. Sidharth Malhotra looked every bit of dapper in Siddartha Tytler’s couture creation; in a stunning black and white applique work sherwani. This collection has been inspired by the rich royal Indian cultural in hues of peach, ivory, peppermint, shades of black, dusted gold, silver and earthy tones. Known for his sharp structured silhouettes, created in Indian, fusion and western silhouettes all weaved together exquisitely.

The collection creates a beautiful visual drama for the eye with the use of crystals, hand embroidery, thread work, digital customised printing, sequins, beads and with great focus on applique work. Moving ahead with the motto to create anything but the ordinary, Siddartha has imported coloured pearls from Europe which has been infused into the garments giving it a notch of ultra-glam and style.

The guests were left awestruck by the set-up of the space, which represented a whimsical charm of an overgrown garden. Master couturier and one of the leading names in the fashion fraternity Manav Gangwani, presented his latest couture collection “India @ 70” to celebrate India’s 70 years of independence at the Stockholm Culture Festival, hosted by the Ambassador of India, Monika Kapil Mohta in partnership with India Unlimited an organization connecting Sweden to India hosted alongside gala dinner at the Radisson Waterfront Congress Hotel.

The Maserati Silver Cup Final of 46° Torneo Internacional de Polo Sotogrande saw Lechuza Caracas Polo Team winning over Las Dos Lunas A&G Private Bank by 10 to 8. The Maserati Silver Cup is the second of three high handicap trophies to be awarded during the 46th International Polo Tournament in Sotogrande, held at the iconic Santa Maria Polo Club.

Venezuelan businessman and Lechuza Caracas patron Victor Vargas was awarded the best player trophy, while Marquita was named the best pony. David Stirling (Lechuza Caracas) said after the game: “It was a very hard match, but we were expecting that. Dos Lunas is a really strong team and they had played a fantastic tournament so far, winning a complicated semifinal. But we started well, putting ourselves ahead from the start, and even if they were always close, we managed to keep the lead. We are very happy to hold the Silver Cup in our hands and we look forward to the rest of the tournament.”

Sprawled over 4,000-plus sq. ft., the new Ensemble store offers a stylish curation of new designer additions such as Amit Aggarwal, and Arjun Saluja.
