Specialists in customized jewellery since 1981, Jet Gems are all set to launch Canvas collection with Nishka Lulla, Nikhil Thampi and Nachiket Barve to appeal to the contemporary, whimsical woman. An artistic collaboration with free flowing creative expression, the collection features pieces that are carefully crafted and designed to be worn daily and at work, says Pradeep Jethani, owner of Jet Gems.
While Nishka Lulla, celebrated for her fairytale inspired style, adds her magical touch to the collection which draws from nature, her statement pieces have an edgy twist with the use of red tourmalines, green peridots and aqua blue stones.
Whereas Nachiket Barve,lends his modern aesthetics to the Canvas pieces, taking inspiration from his ‘Chiaroscuro’ collection. The other part of his collection features the ‘diamond dew drop’ line where the textures of hand sculpted metal, prominently gold, is celebrated in the motifs of lotus and water lily leaves.
Nikhil Thampi adds his signature style and a balance of structure and fluidity to the collection. Encompassing an interesting mix of long earrings and geometric rings, Nikhil throws in a playful mix of beautifully shaped coloured stones in every piece.
