The extent of human greed on our ecology and wildlife has been one of the widest concerns of the 21st century. As a result, for the first time ever, this World Animal Day, three influential industry experts, and animal lovers Bina Aziz (Artist), Amy Billimoria (Fashion Designer) & Gautam Ghanasingh (Creative Director & CEO of Ghanasingh BE TRUE) have come together to create awareness against animal cruelty and extinction and to highlight the importance of animal rights and welfare.

It is heart-breaking to hear about domestic and wild animals being beaten up, burnt alive or being killed for sports, entertainment, or medicinal purposes. The alarming rate at which species are disappearing is something which should be a cause for concern for us all. Not only do they add beauty and wonder to the natural world, they are also of great global economic importance.

Bina Aziz has painted a series of works on canvas, inspired by wildlife using mediums such as oils and acrylic paints. Playing muse, Bina’s art works have helped Amy Billimoria to create a distinct collection of contemporary separates using strong textures of lazer cutting, colour blocking and layering to create stylised silhouettes, strongly portraying that animal inspired clothing can be worn without causing harm to them. Gautam Ghanasingh will curate an exclusive animal inspired jewellery collection designed by Bina Aziz along with Ghanasingh BE TRUE’s ingenious craftsmanship skills. The Limited Edition collection includes unique pieces, using patterns and designs engulfed with modernism for the discerning buyer.
