Yasuko Furuta, Designer and founder of Toga, is inspired by the etymology of the word — it originally meant “blessed robe”, and with that in mind Furuta designs clothes with hidden complexity and nuanced layers.



Distinguished by its exclusive and extensive fabric research and unusual mix of style genres to create clothes that tell a curious narrative, the fall 18 show of London fashion week held at Pancras square, consisted of fitted dresses, Long trenches in emerald green silk and shiny black vinyl with gathered details at the back were outstanding.



As for others, there were full-cuffed pants, teddy bear overcoats, full-pleated skirts, and chunky jewelry, defined Yasuko’s ideology of complex women who can only live in chaos.
