Couture creator Shehla Khan unveiled her Winter/Festive collection “Belle époque ” in association with Reliance Jewels at India International Jewellery Week (IIJW).
The collection ‘Belle Époque’ draws inspiration from the rich history of France’s fashion era between 1895 – 1914 that served as an epoch of beautiful ensembles exuding luxury living. The collection is a mature yet classic and a luxe interpretation of festive wear.
“Belle Époque is for the Avant-garde bride. My collection caters to the modern and bold woman who believes in experimenting and wants a switch from the regular norms of fashion. The collection is histrionic with bold silhouettes, with focus given to fabric detailing rather than embroidery. The pieces spell out a charm of the old world fashion, teamed with an unusual sense of feminism and fulfilling every woman’s love for opulence and beauty as well”, says the designer.
The showstopper dress took the ramp by storm in a dusty blue tiered skirt and sequins blouse with double organza ruffle along with stunning jewellery.
