The merriment of the Paris Fashion Week continues to enthral the fashion savvy audience in the most surprising and exciting manner. The third day saw fashion labels like Roland Mouret, Carven, Manish Arora, Balmain, Rick Owens and Lanvin amongst many others.

580 1The day kicked off with the three most elegant and lavish labels of all times, namely Roland Mouret, Carven and Manish Arora. The former’s ready to wear creations were delicate and appropriately feminine. One feels the extreme urge to grab any of the brightly coloured ensembles for an immediate hangout or a casual party. For Carven, however, it was all about showcasing the unique blend of sophisticated street wear. Wearability mostly ranged from casual wear to exotic semi-formal wear. Following stepped in Manish Arora, whose collection was extremely pink and girly. 3D embellishments, metallic finishes, funky caps and over-sized silhouettes were the main attractions of his collection.

580 2Speaking of the other highlights of the day, Balmain, Rick Owens and Lanvin, all the three fashion houses came up with dark and deep ready to wear creations. However, Rick Owens’ included a few lighter shades, with free flowing silhouettes, unique cuts and layers. Balmain and Lanvin, on the other hand showcased a more formal collection. Balmain’s exclusivity was reflected through the webbed belts, the applique prints and the uniquely styled garments. Lanvin went comparatively monotonous in order to present innumerable choices for office goers.

580The day progressed further in full swing with Ann Demeulemeester, Paco Rabanne, Sharon Wauchob, Barbara Bui,Nina Ricci, Zadig and Voltaire and Christian Wijnants.
