National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT),upcoming International Conference on ‘Rediscovering Culture: Transforming Fashion’, aims of initiating a conversation on fashion, culture, textiles, crafts and sustainability.

As a prelude to the conference, Ms Sarada Muraleedharan, Director General-NIFT,hosted a preview engaging panel discussion with keynote speaker David Abraham and its star alumni- Sunita Shanker, Suket Dhir, Sanjay Garg, Pratima Pandey, and Swati Kalsi in New Delhi.

At the symposium to be held from 31st January to 2nd February 2018, leading global voices who will be heard include: Valerie Steele, Director and Chief Curator, The Museum FIT, New York; David Abraham, Creative Director, Abraham & Thakore; Kate Fletcher, Research Professor, Centre for Sustainable Fashion, London College of Art; Radha Chadha, writer and luxury brand expert; Narendra Kumar, Creative Director- Amazon, amongst others.
