The opening of Milan fashion week had the Graduates showcasing their creativity at Fabbrica del Vapore, courtesy of the Municipality of Milan, concurrently with Milano Moda Uomo.


It showcased the best academic projects chosen from among 28 of Italy’s fashion schools and the inauguration of a static exhibition of excellences from other fashion courses in accessories design, styling, communication, marketing, product management, visual merchandising, retail management, pattern making and tailoring.


From all the projects entered, the Tavolo sulla formazione moda (Fashion Training Committee) has chosen seven fashion designers who will appear at the Milano Moda Graduate Fashion Show and the projects regarding the other fashion professions which will be featured in the Milano Moda Graduate static presentations.


The international jury was presided by Renzo Rosso which also consisted of Carlo Capasa, Andrea Batilla, Sara Sozzani Maino, Paola Arosio, Serena Tibaldi, Lory Yedid, Michele Ciavarella, Stefano Martinetto, Riccardo Vannetti, Lucio Vanotti, Leila Palermo.
