Step into a world of glamour with women’s Fashion Week Milano Moda Donna fall winter 2017. After New York and London, the Italian capital of fashion will be the setting for six days of runway shows. The time around we will see Chinese designers making serious headway in Milan, which includes Xuzhi Chen and Angel Chen, while Xuzh will show in Giorgio Armani’s theatre later in the week.

The first day of womens show ended with Aliens as Annakiki by Chinese designer Anna Yang, who debuted in the Italian city with an out-of-this-world collection.Yang’s latest is an ode to aliens and is inspired by a documentary on the discovery of extra-terrestrials in Mexico in 1947. Models sashayed down the runway wearing metallic-coated outfits, with black patent leather boots, blood-red shiny skirts or grey metallic leggings. Eco-fur, cashmere, wool and velvet play counterpart to the heavily structured jackets, dungarees and rucksacks.

Fausto Puglisi’s collection had a streetwear vibe connecting the disparate ecclesiastic and mobster references. There were high slits and pleating, with thigh-high tights fastened with garters, alongside tight-fitting panel dressed laced t with feather trim.
Heavy black studded shoes grounded the street look, alternating with feathery sandals. The color palate was basic black with flashes of royal red and purple, with some peach, acid green and lavender.
