This Delhi based designer launched her eponymous label in 2001. A graduate from Pearl Academy of Fashion, Ekta has been enthralling the fashionistas with her exquisite creations, with more than a decade of national and international experience. During her graduation, the designer backed the award for ‘Women’s Knitwear Collection’, which was among the first awards of her life.
Speaking of the pret label, ‘Ekta Singh’ is all about intricate embroideries and feminine clean lines. However, Ekta personally specialises in couture wear and loves to enhance them with minute detailing and embellishments. The label is also a fusion of both contemporary and traditional ensembles, created with a sense of fine aesthetics and handicrafts.
Meanwhile, Ekta has worked hard for her label and has held numerous exhibitions and shows at both national and international levels. To promote her creations among the conventional fashionistas, the designer has made participated in platforms like Dubai Fashion Week, Delhi Fashion Week and Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Her major accomplishments also include the brand being featured in various acclaimed international publications.
Presently Ekta successfully retails her collections through her own flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Internationally, her collections can be found in Dubai, Europe, Australia and USA.
