Anju Modi has become the epitome of classic fashion. She takes up designs that connect with the traditional Indian handicrafts of yesteryears, and converts them into ‘contemporary’ & modern look. Anju Modi also has the distinction of being an ex-board member of FDCI. She was also one of the 6 designers that were selected for the HEYERS fashion festival in Paris held in 2006.

Her contribution to the Indian Textile Industry has Been Huge. Her name is associated with revival of weaves in far flung Indian village with reinterpretation of the ancient Bagru and Sanganeri prints and development of R&D centre. She has worked in an array of locations such as Rajasthan, Varanasi, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Every place saw Anju giving an innovative twist to the traditional crafts. All these years of designing in these village sectors, has helped improve the economic situation of the craftsmen & weavers.
