Raf Simon’s first Pre Fall collection for Dior hit the grounds of Tokyo on Thursday where the models walked looking like delicate futuristic Japanese dolls on the runway.

The collection seemed appropriate for the city that is filled with plenty of risk takers when it comes to fashion. Giving the comfort factor due importance, the designer kept the fits for most of the garments free flowing and not essentially body fitting. The colour schemes displayed pleasant vibrancy including brightest colours like bottle green, pure white, fiery red, wine red, mustard yellow, coffee brown and rust orange.

The patterns and textures were blended more than ever before along with embellishments that included layering, tender turtle necks, embroidered wool and fur dresses. Dainty knee-length boots and bulky hand bags were accessories well used. Referring to the classy prints and over all look of the garments, the collection was ideal to be worn in evenings, parties and semi-formal occasions.
