The Makeup Show NYC announces “Colors of Beauty” with Moises Ramirez on May 7th and 8th. This rare gallery will showcase the work of NYC based painter and makeup artist who is known for blending painting, photography, makeup artistry, illustration, and drawing to influence each another in his work.
Through color and texture, he explores the idea of beauty and what we find beautiful today. While Ramirez studied mixed medium and digital arts at Arizona State University, he branched off into the beauty world with a position at a creative global cosmetic company. Moises has made a mark in makeup in all areas of editorial, fashion and beauty and behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week as well as with his work as a multimedia artist.
His exhibit, Colors of Beauty is a selection of multimedia pieces from various art collections that Moises has worked on in the past few years. Most of his work is and has been influenced by working in the beauty industry.”
