Rahul Mishra’s spring show The Rain Forest, at Paris Fashion week was inspired from Henri Rousseau paintings. As we saw a combination of black, red and blue checks with floating yellow silk, crisp white voile layers and pale blue cotton shirts, with subtle embroideries.

A black and white sweatshirt with 3-D embroideries was striking and beautifully crafted in splendid colors.

Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl from the German high-end design couture-label KAVIAR GAUCHE showed their new bridal couture collection called “Sans Souci” during Paris Fashion Week. The défilé was set up in the spectacular spaces of Fondation Mona Bismarck in Paris.

The show was attended by international guests from the fashion and art industry. Special guest was German top model Toni Garrn dressed in a couture robe called “Blazer Sans Souci” which was part of the presented collection.

Its Night time in Paris and Robert Pattinson is been captured by Karl Lagerfelds camera in a series of black and white shots evoking the atmosphere of film Noir.

In a biker jacket or a tuxedo, a classic suite or one embroidered in Lilly of the valley motifs, the actor and Dior homme muse sports the timeless and yet unmistakably modern key pieces from the spring 2017 collection by creative director Kris Van Assche.

I’m always floored by the undeniable beauty of Paris says the actor, and at night in the alleys and side streets emptied of crowds its almost breathtaking. Contrasting shadows make everywhere you look seem like a frame from a movie.

Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), announced the show schedule and list of 110 designers showcasing through runway and exhibition, from all over the country, which comprises 31 splendid shows with 63 designers on the AIFW ramp to be held from October 12-16 at the NSIC Grounds, New Delhi.

Fashion week continues in Paris with some of the big name slated for a back to back showcase on Day 6. From Balenciaga, Valentino, eternal favorite Céline, while we saw singer Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid for Givenchy showcase.

Balenciaga designer had showcased detested fabrics like spandex, latex and rubberized leather to redefine the role of obsessive fascination in waist high boots, jackets and bags.
Valentino sans Maria Grazia Chiuri had colour pink flowed down the runway followed by muted springtime hues with silhouettes loosened and elaborate embroidery.

Maria Grazia Chiuri Maria Grazia Chiuri explores the rules of modern beauty to transpose them into a collection shaped by the sensual tension that exists between the body and clothing.

Christian Dior’s New Look challenged notions of dress with modernity and rigor, form and shape of a silhouette that’s contemporary, agile and Olympian; exhibiting an elite sporting elegance, while remaining within each woman’s reach.

For a uniform such as masks, jackets and lace, are fundamental elements whose lines highlight the constructive clarity of the project undertaken, espousing the house’s founding spark. Fascinated by the house’s intimate and artisanal aspect, her ready-to-wear embraces streetwear influences and techno materials, as well as that magical, dreamy, almost divinatory dimension.

Materials include cotton, which come in blue, white and black & Christian Dior’s beloved red, in addition to gray and pink. Denim acts as a connective element. Tulle, silk chiffon and georgette are cut into maxi skirts whose varying lengths reflect a woman’s varying desires.

While at Issey Miyake, pieces inspired by microcosm demonstrate a structural deconstruction with trapezoid forms, sharp folds, dizzying grids and accordion pleating—a reversed play on origami.
