Nirav Modi boutique at 1881 heritage, Hongkong

NIRAV MODI celebrated the launch of its first international flagship store in Hong Kong, at the city’s cultural and shopping landmark, 1881 Heritage.

The celebrations commenced with a spectacular ribbon cutting ceremony, officially inaugurating NIRAV MODI’s newest flagship store alongwith two honorary guests in attendance – world-renowned award-winning actress Zhang Ziyi, wearing Spring Delight Necklace and Earrings, and Korean superstar, Rain, along with Mrs. Angelina Ypma – Global President of NIRAV MODI, and Ms. Resina Wog – Director of Cheung Kong Property Holdings Ltd.

NIRAV MODI’s High Jewelry Collection was also showcased at this occasion, marking the first time these jewels were exhibitedin Hong Kong. The high jewels included the Water Lily Necklace and Earrings, the Cinderella Necklace, and the Spring Delight Necklace and Earrings. These jewels created an incredible glow that radiated in NIRAV MODI’s flagship store in 1881 Heritage.

Prabal Gurung comes to Le Mill

430Le Mill’s co-founder Cecilia Morelli Parikh hosted a fashionable soiree at her concept store in Colaba to celebrate the launch fashion designer Prabal Gurung’s SS17 collection.

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, Sophie Choudry, Cecilia Morelli and Anaita S Adanjania were dressed in Prabal Gurung. Others spotted at the event were Aishwarya Nair, Diva Dhawan, Gabriella Demetriades, Devita Saraf, Bandana Tewari, Kaykasshan Patel, Mallika Tarkas, Devika Bhojwani, Shaana Levy & Sheena Sippy.

Speaking at the event, Prabal Gurung said ‘’I design for a woman who is a global, glamorous explorer. Bombay is a key city in shaping this idea. The people, colors, textures, art, architecture and history of Bombay is incredibly inspiring. It feels wonderful to be back and I am so thankful to Cecilia for hosting this evening.”

430Ritu Beri launched an exclusive Khadi collection for Men and Women at her studio, presided bySmt. Meenakshi Lekhi,  in Sainik Farms, New Delhi.The collection celebrates India’s National Fabric–KHADI, consisting of Indo-western silhouettes and reflects Indian charm with a fresh flavour.

Beri tries to give Khadi a global image, by giving the fabric a modern twist, instead of restricting it to the image of yesteryears. The silhouettes are a mix of our rich tradition with a contemporary look- the clothes are easy to wear yet glamorous.

See the houses new design lexicon at The Gucci Avenue Montaigne Store in Paris, which has turned into a true Gucci Garden, featuring a full of variety of giant creations such as birds, bees, tigers, snakes and hydras, as well as carnations and roses.
