430Jewellery designer Kusum Jain and entrepreneur Tanaya Walia hosted a fashion evening ‘Celebrating Womanhood’, in aid of ‘Joining Hands’ by MCF, an NGO working towards the upliftment of underprivileged girls.

To take a pledge against DOWRY, Shivani Kashyap, Amanpreet Wahi, Vidya Tikari, Dr.Deepika Krishna, Deepika Bhalla, Bobby Chopra, Mallika Jain, Dr.Deepali Bhardwaj, Sahibba K Anand, Rakhee Bhandari, Shiny Dixit, Tanaya Walia and Kusum Jain adorned in K jewels walked the ramp in Tanieya Khanuja, Nitya Bajaj Birla, Aejish Oberoi, Azalea by Aditi Gupta and Shivikka Chawla collections, at the fashion show at QLA, Mehrauli.

The fashion show was followed by an auction of selected pieces of jewelry and outfits, the funds raised were directed towards the wedding of 2 underprivileged girls.

Forevermark, has announced its first India specific campaign for Capricci, the nose pin collection.  The campaign like the collection is a reflection of the many expressions and many choices of the modern Indian woman.

Conceptualised by J. Walter Thompson India and produced and directed by Prashant Issar Sippy of Tubelight Films, it depicts the idea of ‘Wear What You Feel’, the different moods of a woman through seven nose pin jackets.

The campaign also showcases the versatility of the Capricci collection which includes one classic Forevermark diamond nose pin, seven exclusive jackets for everyday of the week, two Forevermark diamond stud earrings and one charm bracelet. The jackets can be interchanged and worn as different nose pins. Alternatively, the jackets can also be attached as charms to the bracelet.

For the new Lady Dior campaign, photographed by peter lindbergh, the oscar-winning actress and face of the iconic bag, strolls along the banks of the seine in Paris, not far from the louvre. The lady Dior appears in black leather topstitched with the emblematic cannage motif, and with a wide, crystal-embroidered strap. It’s also shown in a metalized version with a micro-cannage, giving a contemporary twist to the motif drawn from the napoleon-iii chairs on which Christian Dior seated the guests at his couture shows.

British Airways teamed up with top Hollywood stylist Elizabeth Saltzman to celebrate today’s jetsetter icons. Victoria Beckham tops the list of best dressed celebrity traveller with her effortless ability to turn the airport arrivals lounge into her personal fashion runway; Victoria pipped Amal Clooney to the coveted top spot.

Elizabeth, whose clients include Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman and Academy Award-nominated Saoirse Ronan, said: “Victoria Beckham always gets it right when flying and it’s so impressive. Usually there is a menswear element to her travel wardrobe; it is chic and sophisticated but still classic and comfortable.”

Lately, Gucci announced the publication of a special limited-edition book, Epiphany, created by photographer Ari Marcopoulos.

Produced in association with Gucci and published by IDEA books, Epiphany features images captured during a shoot that took place in Milan to document the pre-fall 2016 women’s and men’s collections designed by Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The pictures are all by Marcopoulos and have the direct and loose feeling for which he is known.

The book will come inserted in a bubble wrap envelope with a holographic Gucci snake sticker on the front and a black silk screen-printed Gucci logo on the back. The cover of the book will feature a transparent pocket in which a photograph will be housed. This photograph, an image created by Marcopoulos at the shoot, will be printed as a 15cm x 10cm postcard. There are 13 different images that have been chosen for inclusion in the front cover pockets, and these will be assigned to copies randomly. On the back cover of the publication there will be a quote from Alessandro Michele.

The book will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, and as part of the worldwide launch at Dover Street Market New York; it will then be on sale during the Pitti Uomo exhibition in Florence in June, only to be followed in London.

430Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla unveiled their latest store FANTASTIQUE at Colaba, Mumbai. An experiment in Collective Style the store features the collections of three young designer labels- Mayank Anand Shraddha Nigam, N&S GAIA by Nathaniel and Sidharth, and Verandah by Anjali Patel Mehta, curated personally by Abu & Sandeep.

The emphasis was on curating a space that contains an assortment of artistic expression from 21st century India, says the designer duo. The merchandise has its roots in indigenous, organic, traditional fabrics like cotton, khadi and jute. The idea began when we were impressed by how these designers had re-imagined, reshaped, reinvented the traditional in uber-contemporary silhouettes and collections.

The FANTASTIQUE line was unveiled over a long pink champagne afternoon hosted by Sandeep Khosla and CEO Saudamini Mattu along with designers ​Mayank Anand Shraddha Nigam, Nathaniel and Sidharth, and Anjali Patel Mehta. ​Present at the launch were​ Shweta Bachchan Nanda​, Amrita Singh, Mansi Joshi Roy and Rohit Roy, Aditi Gowitrikar, Pinky Reddy, Prerna Goel, Gayatri Rangachari Shah, Nayantara Kilachand, Gauri Pohoomul, Aishwarya Nair, Amrita Kilachand, Bandana Tewari, Azmina Rahimtoola and many more.

British musician Florence Welch was recently announced as Gucci’s new ambassador for watches and jewelry. To commemorate, the House hosted a press conference at a private event at the Somerset House in London, where the latest product novelties were also displayed.

The choice of Florence Welch as brand ambassador came naturally, as her personal style is in harmony with Gucci’s eccentric spirit, as envisioned by Creative Director, Alessandro Michele. Indeed, the two are longstanding friends and are admirative of each other’s creative work.
