Meanwhile, Wal-Mart has been facing major set-backs in China where 0.8% fall in China sales during the quarter to Oct. 31 were reported, which was attributed to government austerity measures and deflation.

However, last October, the company planned to open 110 facilities in China between 2014 and 2016, while closing some outlets as part of an overhaul of its business there.

At a recently concluded event in Berlin, Global Fashion Consultant, Giles Deacon, exclusively unveiled his latest machine-washable collections at P&G Future Fabrics, which included a range for Arieland Downy.

580For this new collection I was inspired by the macro-trend of multi-sensorial fashions and fabrics. Aware that both Ariel and Downy have the capability to preserve and protect these fashions I set about creating designs that bring the best of each brand to life. For Ariel it was all about making first impressions last, colour, confidence and impact. For Downy I focussed on giving people the confidence to wear an item all day and feel as great in it in the evening as they did when they first put it on in the morning.”

The British luxury fashion house is back its iconic furry trench coats and sleek dresses for its pre fall 2015 collection.

This time, Christopher Bailey goes all the more off-edge and beyond boundaries wherein applique prints, stringed furs, scarves and belts were used along with brand’s signature trench coats. Besides, the jackets in velvet fur, leather, animal prints and sporty zippers were the major high points for Burberry pre fall 2015.

Also, a pure white fur shrug was something that the brand rarely produces. In full symphony with the current chilling season, the palette of colours were mild and subtle including soft mustard, refreshing white, luscious black, navy blue, classic blue and many more.

A few glimpses of the previous collections could also be spotted in the folk embroidery on the collar of a knee length trench and the front dotted cashmere sweater.
