This young and vivacious designer brings with himself a lot of enthusiasm and the much required belief in keeping innovation at the core of designing. Along with a graduation degree in Knitwear Designs from National Institute of Fashion Technology, the designer also possesses a precious degree of Masters Women’s wear Fashion designs from the prestigious Istituto Marangoni, an Italian private school of fashion and design.

Speaking of his earlier years in the fashion arena, the designer worked with Etro, an Italian luxury fashion house, for 2 months. Thereafter, having gained the desired professional knowledge and exposure, the designer decided to go solo. He launched his eponymous label in November 2013.

As a fashion brand, ‘Dhruv Kapoor’ is known for its individualistic and twisted take on elegance and sophistication. Along with a classy and chic wear for women, the label also features a line of luxury leather goods. Besides, the designer also works with the sister brand ‘Team Kapoor’. The brand lays its essential focus on luxury sportswear.

Meanwhile, some of the designer’s accomplishments include winning the prestigious Vogue Honours India Award in 2010. Marking the grand milestone of his career, the designer made his debut appearance at the recently concluded Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2014, under the Gen-Next category.

Having showcased his collection at one of the leading fashion platforms of the country, the designer also got the opportunity to compete with top designers of the industry. However, he now successfully retails his collection from his personalised designer studio in New Delhi.
