Shalini AhujaFashion is passion; the designer who goes by this phrase is a young Delhi based accessory maker Shalini Ahuja. The designer is the CEO of Shalini –Arts, the famous accessory label. Her label specializes in vivacious footwears, bags and belts. A fuse of the traditional splendor of the East accentuated with the modishness of the West exemplifies Shalini’s creation. The conviction for art, fashion and varied languages made the designer come up with her own label Shalini –Arts in the year 2009.

Designer Shalini Ahuja has pursued graduation in French language and later studied English while attaining post graduation. The designer has even opted for Italian language from the Instituto Italiano di Cultura. Shalini has been a part of several international events too. In July 2011 Shalini showcased her range of accessories at the Hong Kong Fashion week and prior to this in January she participated at “THE BOX” as an Accessory designer for the celebrated Prêt a porter Paris event. The designer is presently preparing to display her imagination at the prêt a porter Milan which will be held in September 2012.  

Shalini is an aficionado of art and has proved that in her chic contemporary embossed hand painted designs. Her acquaintance with diverse lingoes has assisted her in understanding various cultures and made her designs travel beyond the precincts showcasing a unique global approach making the designer globally acclaimed.

Embossed hand painted motifs by the designer became the USP of her leather accessories.  The time tested traditional techniques have been amplified and improved through modern scientific tools and technology to produce this inimitable hand painted leather products.

The designer leads her retail endeavor from Taj khazana, Fort aguada, Taj holiday village, Taj exotica in Goa, Studio Anonym & Taamara, Hyderabad, Buzzaria, Delhi and from her self possessed outlet Shalini Arts  in Shahpur Jat Delhi. Shalini is also burdened with consignments for a number of Japanese buyers & some buyers from Hong Kong too.
